Hi

I have a son who has Prader Willi Syndrome.  He is 6.5 years old and attends a mainstream school with a 18.9 hour statement.

I was searching for a site to help me with issues at school and how to more easily liase with school.  Head teacher is fine but the class teacher - who he will have again next year - I find difficult - although I think she has his best interestes at heart.

My little boy is a hpayy go lucky helpful soul but is presenting with difficult behaviour at school.

Hi Speeds,

Nice to hear from you! Hopefully you'll find something of use here regarding your school issues.

Our son is also 6 and happy go lucky, though unfortunately for us presents his difficult behaviour at home!

Cheers

Hi Speeds,

Good to have you around on the forum!

What strategies have you tried at school to help sort behavioural (and teaching) issues? Maybe we can put our heads together and come up with some new ideas...

Kind Regards

Thank you for the welcome.

Good idea to put heads together to come up with strategies.

Roll on tomorrow - last day of term - stress for me over for 6 weeks Smiley

Welcome speeds.

I'm also looking forward to the school holidays, no school runs and no real routine.

I might even try to get a lay in now and again. Grin

I hope you manage to work things out with school.

My 3 have Autism plus a few other things.
