Aagh!

Elise's normal taxi escort is off at the mo with a poorly foot so she has got a stand in who HASN'T GOT A CLUE!!!!!!! How can these people be put in charge of our children with absolutely no idea at all about their needs and disabilities. Elise keeps on getting told off for things that she really can't help and she was sooo defensive when I asked her not to wear her perfume the next day as it was making Elise gag! Even if they were given a short written summary of our child it would help as I certainly didn't want to discuss Elise's behavioural issues in front of her.

Also, (allegedly) she was barred from another route because of an incident about which I know nothing. How much dome actually know about the people that are responsible for our children? Last year we had a serious issue with Elise's old escort and driver. The driver was sacked and the escort who was complicit by association was transferred to another route. Those other parents know nothing about what she did and I am not saying that she is putting her new charge at physical risk but as a parent I would like to be aware of possible issues.

Anyway, rant over! I am just looking forward to her normal escort returning - just two more weeks to go!!!!!!

Has anyone else had issues with their school transport?

Not had that yet Paula as Thomas is at a local school - walkable but we have that bridge to cross.

I would make sure that you put all your complaints in writing, however small or large and ask for explanations.  I would also ask to know their recruiting process and also if the person has been CRB checked etc.

The last thing is be insistent on what Elise needs to have.  Some people just do not have a clue.
