Cando Dance Company http://www.candoco.co.uk/index.php?tm=12 Their shows involve dancers who use wheelchairs and those who are ambulant. It looks good.

I have just booked tickets for this in London. it is coming to Poole Lighthouse in mid October.http://www.candoco.co.uk/tourdates.php?tm=2&sm=12&c=UK

Thats good Claire.  I have only seen them once when they can to do a demo at Stoke Mandevile Hospital when Dom was in there but that was a few years ago.

So glad you had a good time.

They did at the South Bank - I think half the audience used wheelchiars or other mobility aids. We sat in a row with dancres whoed priviously worked for the companpy some of them had amazing muscles.

My friend is thinking of auditioning for them (she used to go the royal ballet school) but doesn't think she'll have time - She's just been acepted to help lead an areial trapese display with disabled and ablebodied gymnasts over trafalger square.
That's as well as sled hockey, wheelchair rubgy and  backsage & percussion work in the westend. Wow! She's so busy, I can't keep up.

Unfortunatly the Old Vic (where Steven Fry's Cinderella was playing) did not, they have 1 space for a wheelchair  and their are loads ofstairs up to most of the seats. However, they did have FM of the show broadcast in the theatre so, people can use this to hear it better if they need to.

Cinderlla was fantastic, Sandi Toksvig was the narator and she corpsed - of course!
