Well, the OT (well the locum as the normal OT has to go and sort out her own ill child  ironically!) came to see Thomas.

I am getting a bit mad with this though.  All the OT ever does is come and assess him, then give us a load of evercises and then the next visit they come and assess.

So yesterday I had a frank word with the OT.  They MUST come and see both Thomas' 1-2-1 and me working through the exercises.  As it was yesterday the OT told the 1-2-1 that she was not doing something quite right - and this has been happening since June! the last OT visit. 

I will be chasing for a review in a couple of weeks so that they can see the events in action.  OT seem to be so apathetic compared to S&L who seem ton be able to judge progress or anticipated progress so much more easily.

Any advice and any other thoughts on this.....................ramble of mine

Hmm - am still waiting for someone to return - I think the locking in the cupboard trick should work next time.

As it is Thomas is making good progress but preofessionally I am shocked that they do not come and check that everything is being done correctly by the support worker/parent for that child.
