Hi there
Edited to change the title cos I'm not getting much of a response!
First of all can I thank Paula for giving me permission to post on this forum - it is greatly appreciated.

My name is Vicki, I have taught children with Special Needs for 10 years and I'm totally passionate about supporting families.  I'm delighted that I've recently had a book commissioned looking at the relationshsips of parents when their child has an additional need.  The book is aimed at parents as a self-help guide.  I know there is so little out there to help parents at the moment.  The book will also hope to make professionals more aware of the stresses that couples face.

I want the book to be packed full of case studies, parents talking about their experiences - good and bad.  And how parenting a child with special needs has impacted on their lives.  I want the book to give tips on how to cope.

I have produced a questionnaire  that I really need parents to fill in to help me to make this book a reality.  This includes a consent form and names can be changed
to protect identities, so nobody need ever know it is you.
If anybody out there would be kind enough to fill this in I would be thrilled and it will go a long way to helping other parents.  My email is vahill@hotmail.co.uk
I hope to hear from you
Vickix
