Hi

I am new here so please be gentle with me.

I am Beckie and I have two children. My son is 7 and my daughter is 4. My daughter was born with a duplex system on both kidneys, and urine reflux on one of the kidneys. At 17 months she was diagnosed as having Angelman Syndrome.

I have a son with Prader Willi syndrome which is the maternal form of Chromosome 15.

Wher abouts are you?

Hi Beckie!

Thanks for joining our forum. Hope that you find Special Families helpful - we are generally a gentle bunch!!

We have two children with special needs - Elise is 5 and has ADHD, dyspraxia, ataxia and general learning delay. Michael is 7 and has Moderate learning difficulties, ASD, physical delay and cystinuria which is also a kidney disorder. And we have a rabbit!!
