Hi I am a ex British nanny who worked with children with special needs but have now moved to Africa to start a safari company with my partner who has over 15 years working as a wildlife officer and we both want to offer families the support they may need to have a wonderful holiday so that parents can get some "me time" but also have a great time as a family.
We can provide photos of ourselves, vehicles we use, places where we may stay so that you can make a kind of PECS card if this would be of help.
We love to get the child involved(if this is possible), maybe help with the set up of the camp, baking cakes!!! or helping find pictures of animals in our guide books. If your child has a favorite dvd we have a dvd player and computer and many travel games.
If mum and dad wanted a evening meal together we would be on hand to help with the child.
We are based in Malawi which has a beautiful fresh water lake that has amazing beaches but also go to Zambia. The camp we use in South Luangwa National Park (Zambia) has many quiet corners to camp or lovely rooms and a swimming pool with sloping sides.
