Hi everyone, i am new here my name is sunny and i have a little girl of nearly ten who is Mycrocephalic, cp and totally dependent, she is the light of our lives, when she is well she is such a happy little girl but sadly this is not often enough
I wanted to ask John about the star lazer he bought if i could, i would like to know what colours it projects and if it moves around fast or slowly
I am not at all up on computers so i hope i have not made a terrible mess of my first post
Thanks

Hi!

Well done for making contact!! John is away at the mo 'working' although it sounded as though he was having a great old time last night when I rang him!! The star light has greeny stars and there is a blue cloudy bit which you can turn on or off. It is really slow and that is why we like it as it is almost hypnotic. Both of ours love it and it definitely has a calming effect. When John gets back, I will ask him which site he ordered it from.

Love to you and your little girl

Hi Paula,

Thanks so much for your reply and the info on lazer
It sounds really great
Little Sunny has very poor sight so has lots of different lights in her room but there's always room for more, this is a very nice forum it's nice to talk to people who understand.

love

Hi Sunny

Back now and recovering from the excitement of all the snow! If I can add my description - the light has 2 parts. First, there are the green stars which are tiny pin-pricks of light projected across your ceiling. There are absolutely millions of them if you look closely, and they all seem to drift slowly in different directions. They look most dramatic when there are no other lights in the room. Sort of like stars, but because they move I feel it's more like looking at a cloud of glowing plankton under the sea, or something like that!

The other part is a blue swirly "nebula" which you can adjust the brightness or turn off completely. It has the effect of gently swirling mist or smoke.

If you decide to buy one - I hope you and your daughter both enjoy it (we have been known to pinch our daughters for a while when she is asleep!).

Best Wishes

John
