I stumbled accross this forum this evening. I think its great!

Just thought I should introduce myself, I am Mike Charles a lawyer specialising in special needs law in the UK.

I thought you might wish to know that I have been one of the authors of an innovative special needs web site which parents and schools can use to determine appropriate support for children and adults with learning difficulties. It also provides an anti bullying programme for use by schools and children to make confidential reports.

As for the special needs programme I along with other education experts around the world provided input in an attempt to seek unanimous opinion as to appropriate provision for certain categories of difficulty ranging from autism to ME. Educational Professors both within the US, Canada and the United Kingdom contributed along with medical professionals in England and beyond.

The software will ask questions depending on the answers given, and produce a suggested learning plan or statement of special needs if using it in the UK. The programme also permits the user to instruct appropriate experts online. Its purpose is to provide guidance and to enable and empower parents to better negotiate with the relevant  funding authorities

With best wishes
