We've been trying to tell Michael a little about his disability recently so that he understands his differences. The main thing we say is that God makes us all different and we all have tricky things, e.g. I find cliffs tricky (scared of heights!), Paula finds parking tricky, and Michael finds walking tricky.
Today he cam up with a classic quote:
"It's the way God made me - me no like cabbage!"

Now that's logical...

We have tried to tell Thomas about his condition and thought it would be a good idea to start with its name - trouble is with a name like

Prader Willi Syndrome

All he keeps saying is that his friend Hannah - who has the same syndrome, is not the same because she is a girl and YES you have guessed it - she does not have a willy.

Back to the drawing board for us.

Bless! Made me laugh when I read this  At least it is easier to say than Elise's recent diagnosis - chromosome 10 q 26 deletion syndrome!! Am going to think of a nice fluffy name for this one!
