The forum has gone a bit quiet of late.  I must admit that I have not had much to post about.  BUT really I should post the good as well as the questions.

Thomas has had a fantastic year at school.  He is reading and writing - something he did not do last year.  He has spellings and is joining in with everything.

His 121 has been good but unfortunately after 4 years with him she is leaving.  He has two 121s actually and I should hear soon who will be his new  second 121 for his next year.

Hope everyone else is OK.

Hi Speeds
I'm still around, just off my feet with work, which I can't complain about in the current environment especially as I recently went self employed. We have had a diagnosis a few days ago for Elise - a really rare chromosome deletion - but it is really good to know the boundaries of her condition. More on that later I'm sure! Also having some problems with school transport all kicking off at the moment. (:

Hi Speeds

Yes it has gone quiet on here and I haven't checked onto here for a while as nothing seemed to be posted for a long time.

My Jamie has had a good year too.  We got his school report home last week, and we're really pleased with it.  He is in Mainstream school, which can be challenging and he changed schools last September and settled down well into Middle School.  He is average in most subjects (which is good) but excels in ICT (there's a surprise!!)  It made us chuckle that the teacher thanked Jamie for being his ICT technician all year and said that at times he would have been lost without him!  LOL  I can see a career in computers luming!

Hi and welcome Zoelou!

MAJOR  apologies to everyone for being incredibly slack on the site for a little while - it has been manic here lately and by the time the kids are in bed, I have been sooo tired! Can't say too much, as there is an inquiry going on at the moment, but we have had major problems with Elise's transport. Allegedly (legal talk kicking in!) her taxi driver has been restraining her, because she has been kicking, by holding her legs (whilst driving) and hurting her! Consequently, taxi services have stopped and I have had to drive 100 miles a day to get her to and from school Mad! Sorted to a point now as she has got a new temporary PA and driver but investigations still ongoing as they have denied everything. Will let you know a bit more when I can. Have also all had the flu this week - not sure if it is of the swine variety but flu nonetheless. Not dreadful but still a pain. Combine this with the general chaos that we are usually in and I am quite looking forward to the hols for a rest!! Talking of which - ten minutes and counting!!

Sorry once again and please don't desert us! Normal service will be resumed from now on! Have a great hols and let us know how you get on.
