Hi
My name is Zoe and i have 2 sons, Robert 8 and Joshua who is 13 months and has down syndrome.

Found out before Josh was born he has down syndrome, it made no difference whatsoever, he is such a joy, both my boys are  Grin

Iam finding all the appointments etc that come with having a child with additional needs very tireing at the moment, along with having another child aswell, but wouldnt have it any other way  Wink

Be really nice to speak to you all.

Take care

Hello to all of you.

Yes the appointments do get a bit much and as he is little se if you can get several done on one day - mostly they end up talking to you.

As they get older there are solme appointments that can be combined - for example I try to do our eye appointments with either Growth Clinic or dietician.

Nice to meet you  on here.  My little boy is 8.5 years old and has Prader Willi Syndrome.

Hi! Thanks for joining our forum!

When our son, Michael, was younger I sometimes felt that everyone i.e. the therapists were playing more with him than I ever got the chance to.  It was so frustrating, and as you say, tiring too. Now we have got the two with additional needs, which does lead to some strange conversations with therapists on the phone when I get confused and start talking about the wrong child!! Things have definitely calmed down a bit now they are at school but our diary is still pretty full!

Take care
