Michael has been lucky enough to have a special tricycle the last few years which he loves as he can't use a normal bike. But now he is getting quite big for it so he can actually topple it going round corners and we are looking for something new. Someone suggested a Draisin bike with stabilisers but we have had a look and they are extremely expensive for what could be just a normal bike but with extra sturdy and wide stabilisers from our point of view. I know we could approach a charity but I don't want to waste a charity's money if there is a cheaper way of doing it. So, the question is, does anyone know of where we can get stabilisers that are a bit wider and more substantial than the standard ones you can get?

Thanks

John

John

We often get 2nd hand ones of these advertised on our council network.  Not sure where you are in relation to me but I can forward any that come through if that is of any help.

Also, is it worth approaching any charities for a grant?
