May I take this opportunity to introduce myself, my name is Tom Willis and I am currently involved with an exciting new project called "Centre Algarve" We are at the initial stages of creating Europe’s first totally dedicated holiday centre for disabled and special needs children. Items I would want to see.

1.  Wheelchair accessible with plenty of shower and bathing facilities both in rooms and at poolside
2.  Respite care for carers - and Personal Assistants for hire while there
3.  A fully flexible dietary system
4.  Play and activity leaders
5.  Trasnport to and from the hotel plus the ability to have accessible transport for days out and also the ability to hire an adapted car/van for wheelchair driver etc

Many thanks for your reply, Everything you have mentioned is of use and I am sure we will have no problem with meeting with these requirements. We were going to offer free specialised transportation to and from airport and provide transport for days out which I am sure will be popular. The idea of having a smaller vehicle on site for private use is a good idea and we will have to see how we can arrange finance for this !!! Keep the ideas coming no matter how small as somtimes it is the little touches that count.
