Hi,
I've just started with Decoda, and one of the things I wanted to do in my first week was join all the relevant forums to network with others in the same field and help get the word out on what we're doing

I'll try and give a brief outline of what we're about, but you'll also find a few links in my signature which probably explain it far better than I ever could.

Decoda is a social enterprise who have developed a number of innovative techniques and technologies to help reach profoundly disabled people and provide a chance for them to socialize and express themselves within a friendly environment.
These developments find themselves expressed in the Music Gym which we run Friday's 10.00-15.00 at the Horntye Park Sports Complex in Hastings East Sussex.

Ultimately we'd like to extend this service to everyone who might benefit, and to that end we work with organisations to build interactive environments tailored to the people that use them.
We're available for everything from assessments and recommendations all the way up to installing a complete music gym, with help at every step along the way.

I think it can be hard to get a handle on the positive impact all this has without seeing it in action (it was certainly the case for me at any rate), and to this end we organize and run road shows throughout the UK to showcase the Music Gym to the people that really need it.

I'll stop there, as I have a tendency to go on, but as already mentioned you can find a lot more information at the links in my signature, and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

So that's it really, thanks for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to getting to know the other users on the forum.

Matt.
